Ultra Street Fighter IV's Fifth Character Isn't On Anyone's Radar

Ultra Street Fighter IVs Fifth Character Isnt On Anyones Radar

Capcom senior product manager Matt Dahlgren has confirmed to Siliconera that the fifth new character in Ultra Street Fighter IV won’t be from any other companies—it will be a Capcom character.

Dahlgren also hinted to us that it’s a character that isn’t on anyone’s radar, and that Capcom feel the character will be a perfect fit for the Street Fighter universe.

Paired with previous hints, this leaves us with the following clues:

It is a Capcom character. It isn’t Asura or Bad Box Art Mega Man.Ultra Street Fighter IV will mark this character’s fighting game debut. It is a character that isn’t on anyone’s radar. The character will be a perfect fit for the Street Fighter universe.

Finally, we also asked Capcom how upgrading to Ultra Street Fighter IV from a previous version of the game will work. They confirmed to us that, if you happen to own just Super Street Fighter IV, upgrading to Ultra will also get you all of the content from Arcade Edition

Ultra Street Fighter IV will be available in early 2014. Upgrading from a previous version of the game will cost $15. A standalone copy will be available for $40.

Riuscirà Microsoft a dimostrarla all’atto pratico?

DriveClub On PS4 Isn't Gran Turismo, It's More Like Project Gotham Racing

DriveClub On PS4 Isnt Gran Turismo, Its More Like Project Gotham Racing

Before I played DriveClub, a representative from Evolution Studios made it clear that they they're not trying to make another Gran Turismo. Sony already has a driving simulation game series, so DriveClub was designed from the ground up to be a different kind of racing game.

DriveClub starts by taking your picture with the PlayStation Eye. The photo becomes part of your license and photos appear above ghost cars kind of like Mario Kart Arcade GP or Ridge Racer 3D. While I was driving a McLaren around the track challenges popped up like seeing how far I could drift and what top speed I could get up to along a certain length of track.

Many of the challenges in the demo were geared towards stylish driving rather than getting to the finish line first. These challenges were preset for the E3 demo, but DriveClub will adjust the kind of challenges and skill level when the game comes out.

You can play DriveClub using either motion controls or the analog stick and buttons. I tried both out and at least for me DriveClub is easier with traditional controls. Motion controls turn the DualShock 4 into an incredibly sensitive steering wheel. Tilting the controller just a tiny bit makes the car turn. The rep from Evolution Studios says they are still fine tuning the motion controls for DriveClub.

DriveClub is slated for release alongside the PlayStation 4's launch.

Tales Of Destiny Remade hellip; As A Slot Machine

Tales of Destiny was originally released for PsOne and then Namco Bandai remade it for PlayStation 2. Stan Aileron's adventure is moving to new hardware… kind of. Kita Denshi is using Tales of Destiny as a base for a pachislot machine.

'

'

This isn't the first RPG turned slot machine we've seen. Other companies made Shadow Hearts and Suikoden pachislot machines. Pachislot machines based on video games reuse artwork from the source material and usually play cutscenes when you match three reels.

Sony Announce Hardware Sales Forecast For The Year Ahead

Sony released their financials today, providing sales figures of their videogame hardware. Combined, the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2 sold 16.5 million units during the company’s fiscal year ended March 31st, 2013.

Sony forecast that they would sell 16 million units of the two devices, meaning that they’ve exceeded their goal slightly.

Grand Theft Auto V Coming To PC This Fall According To Nvidia

Grand Theft Auto V Coming To PC This Fall According To Nvidia

Grand Theft Auto V is reportedly coming to PC this fall, according to Nvidia’s senior director of Investor Relations, Chris Evenden.

In an earnings call transcribed by Seeking Alpha (via: Polygon), Evenden discussed ongoing changes in the PC market, that are being affected by PC gamers. Evenden went on to explain that PC gamers are preparing their systems for upcoming titles slated for this fall, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, Grand Theft Auto V and Assassin’s Creed IV.

Evenden’s statement has credibility behind it as Nvidia are working with Ubisoft on optimizing Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag for Nvidia hardware. In the past, the company has also worked in partnership with Activision on the Call of Duty series. Nvidia have not, however, announced any such partnership with GTA developer Rockstar yet.

On the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Grand Theft Auto V will launch September 15th.
